Policies & Procedures

Scope of Practice: Clients physical needs are assessed, professional suggestions given on which trewatment best suites your needs, outline of treatments given, charted information to help with assessment and recommendation of treatment.

Confidentiality: Any information is never given out without your consent unless law enforcement, FBI, CIA requires information or if you are intentionally harming yourself then the proper authorities have to be notified.

Communication: Positive manner, no cursing, no deregatory or sexual comments, answer all questions, forms truthfully.

Ettiquette

Cancellations/Lateness: 

  1. If you are 15 mins or more late you will be billed for the appointment

  2. If cancellation is necessary, please give as much notice as possible or you will be charged for the appointment unless the time can be filled. Emergency cancellations are determined at therapists discretion.

  3. You must cancel by phone. If you get the voice mail please leave the following information: Name, Session time, Duration of session, Reason for cancelling and a contact number

General:

  1. Do not eat a heavy meal less than 2 hrs prior to your session

  2. Do not show up in an altered state(under the influence of drugs/alcohol)

  3. No smokin on or aound the premises

Hygeine: 

  1. Be clean, having showered the same day as your appointment

  2. No heavy perfume/cologne

  3. No heavy makeup

Expectations
  1. Sessions begin and end at scheduled time.Sessions that begin late because the client arrived late end at the same time and are not prorated

  2. Clients provide health history and update when necessary

  3. On outcall appointments, if I have arrived and you are 15 mins are more late you are still charged

  4. You may cancel no less than a 24hr period prior to your appointment

  5. Sexual harrassment will NOT tolerated. If the therapists safety feels compromised the session will end without refund
